An appellate attorney.

An appellant attorney helps the party who lost their claim in whole or part in a lower court decision, appeal to a higher court to have their case reconsidered. The basis is usually that the lower court judge erred in the application of law. It sometimes is possible to appeal on the basis of misconduct, or that a finding of fact was not reasonable.
